About Me:
I am a local artisan, hand-rolling and hand-dipping chocolate truffles. My passion for food was peeked while living in NYC during the mid '80's. I also had the opportunity at quite a young age to live in Italy during the summer for a few years and I am sure this added to my appreciation of local, simple foods. My husband and I moved to France in the late '80s and of course this experience only heightened our LOVE of food. We have three children and our family focus is always centered around the celebration of a meal.

Dear Michele, Welcome to ilp. It is still a work in progress but we are striving for anything related to food culture in and around Rhode Island focusing on Providence. An emphasis on smaller scale, authentic, and local. While artisan and organic issues are appreciated, ILP is as much about the local burger joint as it is an artisan grower of organic produce.
