NO MORE WINE DINNERS AND WINE TASTING EVENTS!

There is a recent bulliton sent out from the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations which will, in all honesty curb and restrict wine dinners and events. It has 'interpreted' the current law on wine tastings to forbid retail accounts to aid in the promotion of any wine dinner or event, taking a large incentive for the distributors to be involved. Southern Italian Wines

I've just got to say and I'm sure I'm saying it to no one that Southern Italian wines are about to explode. Primotivo and Negroamaro are priced right and present amazing intensity if lacking in complexity. Add Sicily to the mix and we have a category of wine that, like Rhone in France, might rise up and rival the moneyed and collectible wines to the North. Has anyone had a Salice Salentino lately?
