Ebisu is a Japanese restaurant, but not a sushi restaurant; they serve Yakitori (meat on a stick!), noodles and Shabu Shabu, which is “a Japanese variety of hot pot. The dish is prepared by submerging a very thin slice of meat or vegetable in a pot of boiling dashi (broth) and swishing it back and forth several times.”

There’s been so much written about these 2 restaurants that I don’t feel the need to go into detail about them.

Gracie’s – Went there for the first time this week with my in-laws. Excellent!! Pricy, but so worth it. The attention to detail is impressive as is the little extras… a single bite app (amuse bouche?? Yes, I watch Top Chef), sorbet between courses, cute little cookies at the end… And of course the main course were so, so good. Amazing. We’ll definitely go back and will recommend.
