Rhode Island Food Culture: Dining, Drinking & Food Stuff

Hello! Im Andy, A cast member in The RENT tour that is coming to Providence next week.
Aside from being in the cast, I have a food blog that journals our culinary adventures while on tour www.lavbm.com

We are looking for a restaurant in Providence that would seat about 15 of the Cast and crew for a sunday night dinner after the show. As part as a fundraising for Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, we are looking to auction off 2 seats/meals at the table with the RENT cast.

Which restaurants might be willing to do this, seats us and would be open?

THANKS!

The table for 15 will all depend on hpw they are booked that night for the smaller places.

Near PPAC - Gracies, Local 121, New Rivers (small).
Other favorites around town - Farmstead (small), Red Stripe (Wayland Square area), Chez Pascal.
Mills Tavern and on South Main st.
Lots of Italian place on Federal Hill - Pane i Vino is liked by a lot of locals, but not in the same league as many of the places above.

Hi Andy!
I can talk to the Chef of Gracie's (just sent him a text) to see if they can fit you in. They are close to PPAC (where you are performing), and they have a gorgeous room downstairs in the wine room, that is cozy and comfortable. I can get in touch with a few more Chef/restaurants close by as well. Plz call or e-mail me directly and we can work this out!

Our goal was not to create another place for people to get hit with a one way information flow, but to start a dynamic, group conversation about food culture in Rhode island by all who are passionate about it. Bon Appetite
