Rhode Island Food Culture: Dining, Drinking & Food Stuff

Hello, I'm a chef that just moved to the area from Boston. I was wondering if any of the other cooks on this site knew of decent, affordable produce, supply, etc purveyors. I'm starting work for a non-profit center and have a limited budget and will be placing smallish orders. Unfortunately all the companies I dealt with in the past couple of years were in Boston. I'm aware of places like Perkins and US Foods as they're regional and are a bit more tolerant of smaller ordersIf anyone has suggestions they'll be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Our goal was not to create another place for people to get hit with a one way information flow, but to start a dynamic, group conversation about food culture in Rhode island by all who are passionate about it. Bon Appetite
